The RED DIGITAL CINEMA RED RANGER With GEMINI 5K S35 Sensor (V-Mount) is a RED RANGER Camera BRAIN, that features an integrated 5K S35, 15.4MP CMOS Sensor, & V-Mount battery plate. The RED RANGER Camera BRAIN allows you to record full-frame, professional video, for production applications. The RED RANGER features the benefits of a GEMINI 5K sensor, within a compact & simplified platform for filmmakers. The RED RANGER's integrated I/O’s, 24V power out, shimmed PL Mount & improved fan and thermal performance, offer a sense of ease in difficult shooting conditions.

The RED RANGER is designed to be durable, & able to handle the strain, as well as the power needs, of high-end studio productions. The RED RANGER supports a wide input voltage of 11.5V, as well as SDI & AUX power outputs. It also includes a built-in, integrated XLR audio input, to provide even more shooting options. 

The RED RANGER is designed for full-frame lens coverage, which allows for great control over depth of field. Its 5K resolution enables cinematographers to experience the most clean & natural imagery, while providing unrivaled creative options to choose from. The RED RANGER also features 16.5 stops of dynamic range, which increases highlight retention, lowers noise, & produces fine shadow detail (even in low-light environments).

With higher resolution than 4K capture, & more than 17x more than HD, the RED RANGER enables cropping, re-centering, & other adjustments during post production, while still maintaining crisp & vivid imagery. The RED RANGER can reach data rates of up to 300 MB/s, with the use of 480 or 960GB MINI-MAGs (Sold Separately, Click to View). Through the use of separately available, full-frame lenses, you can capture cinematic images, at up to 75 fps, in 5120 x 3000 5K, 120 fps in the 2.4:1 5K aspect ratio, 120 fps in 4K full format, & up to 300 fps in 2K 2:4:1 aspect ratio.

GEMINI 5K S35 Sensor:
The RED RANGER's GEMINI 5K S35 Sensor is designed to feature dual sensitivity modes, which allows for low-light shooting, without excessive noise in your images. A "Standard" mode is designed for conventional shooting scenarios, with normal light, while "Low Light" mode is designed for increased sensitivity, without experienced the increased noise that is commonly found in this scenario.
