PROMASTER 22" Collapsible Reflector - Silver / White
This 2-sided silver / white reflector collapses to less than 8" and pops open to a 22". It has a metallic silver surface and a soft white surface for modifying light.
Collapsible reflectors are incredibly versatile tools that belong in every photographer and videographer’s equipment repertoire. They fold down about 1/3 of their usable size, pop open in 1 second, and weigh just ounces. They work with sunlight or any ambient light, including LED, as well as flash and strobe; allowing you to direct and modify light where you want it, as you want it.
Reflectors are available in a variety of fabrics and surfaces. With them you can open shadows, soften light, create warm effects, and much more. Portraiture, macro work, and still life are just a few examples of subject types that can benefit. Due to their small size and light weight, collapsible reflectors are especially useful when carried outdoors and used for modifying sunlight or adding light on an overcast day.
This ProMaster 2-sided 22” Collapsible Reflector stores at less than 8” but opens to a full 22” diameter. The metallic silver side produces a bright, hard light with increased contrast and specular highlights. The white side produces a soft, neutral light.
A lightweight storage bag is included.
Collapsible reflectors can be used handheld. For more precise control, and to keep your hands free, a reflector can alternatively be held by accessories such as:
- ProMaster light stand reflector holder (product code 2937)
- ProMaster reflector holder arm (product code 4213)
- ProMaster Illuminator arm (product code 5151)
Keep in mind that many camera bags these days have a dedicated slot or compartment for storing a laptop computer or tablet. That same compartment can alternatively be used to hold collapsible reflectors.
