As the name "Switch" hints, Westcott has introduced a line of modifiers designed for rapid setup and swapping out of different brands of strobes and speedlights in seconds. The 24" Switch Beauty Dish is a good choice for full portraiture, fashion, or work on the road. The problem with metal beauty dishes has always been transport and the large, unwieldy cases used to protect them from dings and dents. Westcott gets around all that by giving the dish a lightweight (1.9 lb), collapsible design that opens and folds down in seconds like an umbrella. The Beauty Dish Switch has all the advantages of rigid dishes—that signature soft but crisp quality of light that is very kind to hair, fashion, make-up, and simple portraiture. Another benefit is the reflection of natural-looking catchlights in your subjects eyes.
As mentioned earlier, the Beauty Dish has a basic ring to hold it together, but instead of full speed rings, 13 "inserts" are available for a speedlight or 12 different brands of strobes. The quick release thumb-lock on the Beauty Dish Switch ensures the security of your light. Besides the benefit of speed, the dish is structurally sound with durable metal framework and heat-resistant fabric. The dish has an interior deflector plate that bounces the light backward and distributes it throughout the dish, thus defeating the hot spot. It also comes with a slip-on front diffuser for those who want to soften the light quality further. Its material has been thoroughly tested and found to be neutral, ensuring a true rendition of color. A carry case is included for storage and transport. Optional accessories include a 40° grid to narrow and control the dishs beam spread.

Shipping fees are calculated on a combined basis of weight, value (for insurance purposes), and destination. Some orders are shipped in multiple parcels. We do not add additional fees to your order if we ship in multiple parcels. Fedex & UPS Mail is also available for many destinations. Fedex Mail & UPS Mail is a hybrid service from Fedex & UPS that delivers to many international countries. The final delivery from this service is by the Post of that specific country.
Drop-Ship items will be shipped to us from our supplier before being shipped to you. Oversized items that don’t fit Parcel Services standards will be shipped via an International freight forwarder via Door-to-Airport or Door-to-Door service, depending on your location. The carrier will call you to inform you of your delivery method.
Fees & Shipping Cost
Your country’s import duties, taxes and fees are never included in the item and shipping totals. For these fees, please refer to our Duties & Taxes section. Original outbound shipping costs are nonrefundable.
Refused or Returned Deliveries
If an order is refused or returned to us due to inaccurate or incorrect address information or because it was declined or undeliverable, AVC photo video store reserves the right to retain the original shipping/handling fee and to charge the payment method originally used for costs we incur related to the return of the undeliverable packages or merchandise to us.
Signature and Time
All orders are shipped “signature required” upon receipt. International orders received before 7 AM Eastern Standard Time (GMT -05:00) will be shipped the same day. To avoid higher than normal shipping and duties charges, orders containing multiple items will be consolidated in one location prior to shipping. Your order may be delayed by an extra business day.
