When it comes to lighting it's all about control, and the 45° Deep Focus Reflector with Honeycomb Grids and Diffusion from Westcott provides exactly what you need to do that. The package includes a 55° reflector with a one-stop diffusion cover that's small enough to fit any umbrella shaft. Also included are 15 and 30° grids that eliminate spill light, narrow the beam spread for selective lighting, and make the setup ideal for a hair or accent light. The smaller the grid number, the tighter the circle of light that's projected.
Maximize and Direct Light
This reflector creates a controlled 55° light beam for mid-range photography and video applications. It concentrates the light into a narrow 55° beam angle, rendering light with minimal fall-off and a defined edge.
Removable Honeycomb Grids
The included 15 and 30° snap-in honeycomb grids offer even further light control for precisely directing where the light falls on your subject or scene. These grids enable selective lighting of areas of your subject. The size of the projected circle of light depends on the grid selected and its distance from your subject.
Precise Light Control
Honeycomb grids are made up of cells that control off-axis light in 6 directions. By focusing light through a grid, you eliminate both light spill and lens flare simultaneously for precise illumination.
