AVC Photo Store & School requires a collateral deposit for the full retail value of all equipment rented. Deposits may be left in cash or on a credit card(s). If using a credit card, the deposit hold takes about 3-5 business days from the swipe date to release. Using a debit card for deposits is highly discouraged. If you choose to use a debit card (a card tied to the checking account with the VISA or MasterCard logo) the hold may take up to 30 days to resale. AVC Photo Store & School is not responsible for and will not reimburse any fees acquired during the holding period. The banks allow for an electronic hold on funds but not an electronic removal. The card and card holder must be present to rent the equipment.

AVC Photo Store & School rents by the day and by the week. The weekly rate is (4) times the daily rate. Daily rentals are due back at the store 24 hours from the time of rental. There is no charge for equipment on Sundays. Weekly rentals are due back on the same day and time of the following week. Rentals will begin to accrue late fees after this time at each items daily rental rate. We accept reservations 30 days in advance. AVC Photo Store & School will not charge a fee on days that the store is closed. AVC Photo Store & School requires at least 2 days notice for cancellation. If a reservation is cancelled within 1 day of the reservation date, the customer is still responsible for the full rental fee. No refunds.

The customer is at all times liable for any loss, theft or damage to the rented equipment. The customer is liable to AVC Photo Store & School for replacement, repair and accrued rental charges for equipment that is lost, stolen, or damaged. If equipment is not returned in the same condition it left AVC Photo Store & School, the customer is responsible for the full replacement price of the lost, stolen or damaged equipment plus all applicable sales tax.
