Refund Policy

1. Refunds and Returns Policy (Online & In-Store)

 

All sales are final. Store credit or exchanges may be issued at the sole discretion of AVC photo video store.

Returns must be made within seven (7) days of receipt, with products unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.

A minimum 15% restocking fee may apply to certain returns at the discretion of AVC Photo Video Store, after careful product evaluation and pending the item’s condition.

If the item is missing any parts, we reserve the right to refuse the return or provide a refund. If the product shows signs of use, up to a 50% restocking fee may be applied.

AVC photo video store does not refund any shipping or handling charges. All return shipping charges must be paid by the buyer.

Claims for missing or damaged items during transit must be received within 24 hours of receipt of the merchandise. Otherwise, we will not be responsible for providing replacements, refunds, or exchanges.

All returns must be processed with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. For instructions on obtaining an RMA, please refer to our FAQs. RMA numbers are valid for 7 days.

AVC photo video store is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise. Additionally, we are not liable for any consequential or incidental damages resulting from the sale or use of merchandise purchased from us. Our responsibility is limited to the monetary value of the merchandise only.

No returns or exchanges will be accepted on the following items:

  • Software and Hardware – if the packaging has been opened.
  • Consumables (including film & paper, batteries, tapes, memory cards, hard drives,  bulbs, etc ) – once unwrapped.
  • Underwater equipment – due to safety and sanitary reasons.
  • TVs or monitors – once any packaging has been opened.
  • Computers – Built or modified by AVC photo video store per customer request.
  • Classes & Seminars – You may contact customer service to transfer the ticket or class reservation to another person.
  • Any product purchased on clearance or marked as final sale.
  • Specially ordered merchandise.
  • Educational tapes and books – once unwrapped.

 

2. Pre-Owned Equipment Department

AVC photo video store both purchases, sells, and takes trade-ins of pre-owned photographic equipment. All pre-owned equipment sales are final. While all pre-owned items are thoroughly tested, complete functionality cannot be guaranteed, and customers are encouraged to inspect items and ask questions before completing a purchase.
